Mission and Vision
The purpose of the Center is to promote and support the arts through exhibitions, education, and community engagement. The Center shall provide a space for artists to create, display, and share their work with the public while fostering an appreciation for the arts within the community.

Meet Amy Moore – Art Director at the Honea Path Arts Center
“I am excited to be involved with the re-launch of the Arts Center; it is a blessing and a privilege to be part of something so special. I hope the Arts Center can grow to be a beacon within the town—symbolizing a place for all to come.”
Originally from Kent, England, Amy Moore has called Honea Path home for the past eight years. With a Higher National Diploma in Technical Theater, Media Make-up, and Art, Amy brings a wealth of creative experience to the community. She has worked in stage management and various backstage roles across the theatrical world.
Since 2023, Amy has become a vibrant part of the Honea Path community, directing local shows and leading the theatrical summer camp at the Watkins Community Center.
As Art Director, Amy shares:
“Our mission is to create a fun and safe environment for children and adults to explore different mediums of art, with a hope to nurture creativity within our community.”
